We are looking for a Lead, People Systems to define the technology strategy that supports recruiting, people operations, and workforce management. It combines technical systems thinking with a deep understanding of how modern organisations operate.
APIs, data models, system architecture, and integration patterns.- Technical understanding of systems architecture, integrations, and data management - Experience building or scaling People systems in a growing organisation - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills - Ability to solve problems independently and build effective systems HOW WE WORK Our organization is very flat and our team is small, highly motivated, and focused on engineering and product excellence. All members are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to the company’s mission. Code reviews and design reviews are expected for all meaningful changes.We discuss architecture openly, make decisions quickly, and ship frequently. Product, ML, and engineering collaborate directly — there are no heavy handoffs between teams. Leadership stays close to technical work.We favor clear ownership, simple architecture, and fast iteration. Engineers are trusted to make decisions and take responsibility for the systems they build. Define the People Systems Strategy - Assess current HR and recruiting systems and identify opportunities for improvement - Define the technology architecture for People systems across recruiting, HR operations, and workforce data - Ensure systems support scalable hiring, employee management, and data insights Build the People Systems Infrastructure - Design and implement systems that support recruiting workflows, employee lifecycle management, and internal operations - Evaluate and integrate HR technology platforms and internal tools - Ensure data quality, governance, and security across People systems Drive the Systems Roadmap - Establish a clear roadmap for People systems and HR technology - Prioritise system improvements and new capabilities as the organisation grows - Partner with engineering teams to implement systems effectively Partner with Leadership - Work closely with People, Recruiting, and Operations leaders - Ensure systems support strategic workforce planning and organisational growth - Improve employee experience through well-designed systems and processes WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Strong experience with HR systems, recruiting systems, or internal operational platforms - Technical background: degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on technical experience. You can speak fluently with engineers
