Billing Analyst
Overview
Analyst The Billing Analyst is responsible for managing and executing timely, accurate billing in accordance with company policies and customer contracts. This role requires a strong operational focus, attention to detail, and comfort navigating complex systems and billing models—including subscription-based, transactional, time & materials (T&M), and tiered revenue What You'll Do: Prepare and process invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly invoices across multiple billing models. Review and analyze customer accounts to verify transactions are billed accurately and timely Process contract-driven changes, such as adjustments, credits, rebills, and cancellations.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support the onboarding and billing of new customer agreements. Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization within the billing process. Document billing processes, SOPs, and changes to maintain accurate operational guides.
Support financial reporting, monthly close, internal audits, and ad hoc data analysis as required. Support special billing projects and assist in responding to internal and external billing inquiries via the shared inbox. What You'll Bring: 3–5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, revenue operations, or a related operational finance role.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads with speed and accuracy. Proficiency with enterprise billing or ERP systems; experience with BillingPlatform and/or Intacct strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail, with a track record of identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Clear, professional communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally. Process-oriented mindset and ability to document workflows effectively. Don't meet every single requirement?
